Wheelchair Friendly Summerhouse

The brief for this stunning garden design project in Ormskirk was to make sure every aspect was suitable for a wheelchair. They also wanted a wheelchair friendly summerhouse so the client was able to enjoy their outdoor space unaided.  Nestled in the corner, our Kingston Summerhouse sits proudly next to the garden pond.  The bespoke doors are positioned diagonally beneath the eaves to provide panoramic views across the garden and afford shelter in inclement weather. These were modified for easy wheelchair access.

Stained in Natural Cedar, the summerhouse blends in with the natural hues of the garden. Eventually turning the beautiful silver grey cedar ages to. Plain double glazing offers unrestricted views of the amazing garden. With 2 opening casement windows, 2 fixed casement windows, the space is light and airy. An insulation upgrade and electrical pack option were also chosen as they wanted to use their summerhouse in those chilly winter months.

If you want to make the most efficient use of the space within your garden, a corner summerhouse will be the perfect garden building for you. Designed to be tucked neatly in to a corner, our Kingston Corner Summerhouse will not leave you with a useless space behind.  A corner summerhouse is a great way to get the most out of your outdoor space. They are both practical and versatile. Even in gardens that don’t seem to offer a lot of spare space they can fit snugly into the corner. Once there, they provide a whole new room for your property. Generous in size, the Kingston Corner Summerhouse is an inviting outdoor retreat that has an abundance of uses.
